Yes, India has unveiled a Tablet PC with Touch Screen, India’s own iPad for only Rs. 1500. It was unveiled by the Human Resource Development Minister, Mr. Kapil Sibal on Thursday, 22nd July 2010.
The Tablet PC, specially designed for Students and teachers of Schools, Colleges and Universities, which can be eventually owned by public too. The New Indian Rupee Symbol was introduced a couple of days back. And I am sure many of you must be wondering how you are going to type it in a document using your keyboard. Well, I have found a solution to this.
Though it may take some time for the Symbol to appear on your keyboard, but can right away be typed as a character, using the newly created font thanx to Foradian Technologies.
